Tech Lead - Nest / Node.js

We are seeking a dedicated, client-focused, and experienced Tech Lead (Nest.js / Node.js) to join our growing team, preferably through B2B collaboration.

Responsibilities

As a Tech Lead, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Leading and mentoring a team of engineers, fostering technical excellence and collaboration.
• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services using Nest.js / Node.js.
• Driving architectural decisions to ensure performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Reviewing code, ensuring best practices, and guiding the team in problem-solving.
• Identifying technical risks and proposing effective solutions.
• Staying up to date with emerging technologies and integrating them where relevant.

Required Experience & Technical Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development.
• Strong expertise with Node.js and frameworks such as Nest.js / Express.js.
• Deep knowledge of REST API design principles and backend architecture.
• Experience with TypeScript and modern development practices.
• Proficiency in databases (SQL & NoSQL) and schema design.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a proven track record of guiding teams.

Nice-to-Haves

• Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis).
• Exposure to DevOps practices.
• Understanding of security best practices in backend development.
