QA Engineer

About Project:

The project is a modern, cloud-based communication platform that enhances business collaboration through VoIP calling, messaging, and seamless integrations. Designed for scalability, security, and efficiency, it provides advanced call management and team coordination features, making it an essential tool for businesses.

Key Responsibilities

As a QA Engineer at BinarCode, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Perform manual testing to validate new features and ensure they meet requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Playwright and JavaScript.
• Identify, report, and track bugs, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality across the development cycle.
• Continuously improve testing processes, identifying gaps and inefficiencies.
• Ensure features are tested across different browsers and devices.
• Contribute to maintaining and improving QA documentation.

Required Experience

• 3+ years of experience in software testing (manual & automation).
• Experience with JavaScript and/or Playwright for automation testing.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Good knowledge of bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good English and Romanian skills (written & spoken).
• Technical degree (university)

Nice to Have:

➕ Knowledge of Russian.

➕ Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.

➕ Understanding of API testing (Postman, RESTful services).
